The AUEA is a not-for-profit association founded in 2020, with the goal of promoting esports in universities across Australia. We provide a centralized collaborative forum for universities to engage in the promotion of esports at all levels of competition.

Membership is open to all universities across Australia that have an esports program or club. By becoming a member of AUEA, your university will join a network of institutions committed to the development and promotion of esports.

Members of the AUEA gain access to a variety of benefits, including support for event organization and management, funding opportunities, and a collaborative platform to engage with other universities committed to esports. Additionally, members get to be part of a community that champions ethical and responsible behavior in esports.

Start by reaching out to our team through our website or via email. We’ll send you a membership application form. Once filled out and submitted, our team will review your application and notify you of the result in writing.

The AUEA can provide guidance and support in establishing an esports program in your university. This includes sharing best practices, helping navigate esports-related challenges, and providing resources and funding opportunities to kickstart your program.

We are committed to the ethical conduct in esports. We have a comprehensive code of conduct for our members, which includes adopting the code of conduct of the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC). ESIC also has jurisdiction over events hosted by our members, ensuring ethical conduct throughout.

While the primary focus of the AUEA is supporting member universities and their students, we do host events and activities that are open to the broader esports community. We encourage you to check our event calendar for any upcoming open events.

The AUEA respects the privacy of its members and adheres strictly to the applicable privacy laws. We have a robust Privacy Policy in place, outlining the types of personal information we collect, how we use it, and the measures we take to protect your privacy.
