We are thrilled to announce that the University of Technology Sydney’s (UTS) esports program UTS Esports has joined the Australian University Esports Association (AUEA) as a founding member. This significant partnership marks a pivotal step in our mission to shape the future of university esports in Australia.

The UTS Esports program is recognised nationally for its dedication to esports, offering its students unique opportunities in competitive gaming. Their commitment to the growth and professionalisation of esports aligns perfectly with the objectives of AUEA, making them an ideal partner.

As a founding member, UTS will play an integral role in shaping the direction of AUEA. They will be actively involved in our policy and decision-making processes, contributing their valuable insights, expertise, and experience in university esports.

Furthermore, UTS will have the opportunity to collaborate with other AUEA members, sharing best practices, knowledge, and resources to help elevate university esports across Australia.

We’re excited about the potential of this partnership and what it means for the growth and development of university esports. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to fostering a rich, collaborative environment where all universities can flourish within the esports space.

We extend a warm welcome to UTS and thank them for their commitment to enhancing the esports experience for their students and for universities across Australia.

This is a momentous step for AUEA, and we look forward to announcing additional members in the near future. For any questions or more information about AUEA membership, please reach out to us at member@auea.org.au

Together, we’re shaping the future of university esports in Australia.
